Inspection Light How Do I Pass A NYS Inspection With The Engine Light On?

How do I pass a NYS inspection With the engine light on? - inspection light

Ok, I left and the right to cash in my 2000 Chevy Blazer engine goes out. Now I've finally got the diagnostic tool, but the data connection on my car is toast. I can not afford to repair it than to move a way to manipulate the testing machine to my car for the year?

  1. Not sure about the requirements for your state, but I know 00 'Chevrolet jackets. What surprises me is the diagnosis / Connector data is actually burned or damaged, or information from the engine management computer. If you still get no signal from the computer, there are 2 simple things that can be controlled. One is the chassis and engine of the above, one of which is two at the rear of the cylinder on the right and the passenger side and I think it's a 14mm. Check the cables and connections are not loose or broken. The other reason is the engine computer. It is situated behind a kick panel, passenger side, just under the glove box. A faulty ground can cause the power supply by other problems and in most cases, the motor will be advanced lighting control, but do not receive the information. I hope this helps you solve the problem, good luck. Christopher

  2. You are screwed. The laboratory testing is no check engine light shows. Even if you were to remove the bullet, probably not a sniff test, if there is a problem due to engine failure. Many experiments are necessary to enable the data port connector to ensure that no stored codes, including codes will not work for compensation before the test if the vehicle to go to a behavior in order to define the layout, have monitors in the ECU. If the scanner is not available to the test station set for monitors then you will not, as is expected of us and get rid of these codes. As a disabled minimal test and also to ensure the key to a lamp that not only the bulb or is burned. Thus, even without the connection of a scanner, you're beaten.

Get the link port fixed data and read what the codes. Ultimately, you should resolve the problem.

Like a ray of hope, of many lights should check engine, you lose, or wear hats that emissions of greenhouse gases causing EVAP failure. You really need to knOW-codes, what you have, it's that simple.

    Sorry for the reality

  5. Here in upstate New York if your vehicle was manufactured before 1997 would have gotten involved with her, while the engine "check" warning was not something that the emissions caused to exceed the legal limit. Do not cover the case of vehicles built after 1997 to test again, but the ECU plugs directly into the inspection team and if it finds a problem with all of the code are not the controls. Sorry, but you get the problem fixed :-(

    * As far as I know, you can not do anything to your car, the fun of the new inspection of machinery makes, after the hacker ECU (see above). If you are with us a good friend of yours, which is probably be able to cheat by using the test in another vehicle and gives the label, but I think it's better to fix the car. If it seems to work well, then I guess you're just a bad sensor somewhere.

  7. I think you need to connect your car to a diagnostic device to connect to, and data in Albany, which is not controlled, engine lights. The best way to talk to a mechanic if
